millions on research for Ebola. The research funding is being reduced due to more
concentrated studies of other diseases.
Historical significance:
 There were four major outbreaks in 1976, 1979 and 1995 in Zaire and Sudan.
The most recent major outbreak was in 1996 in Northern Gabon.
